  • We challenged chefs of three different levels - an amateur, a home cook and a professional chef - to make their versions of french fries. And then we brought in a food scientist to review their work. Which fries were the best?

                                                      I tried the level 1 and leve 2 chef technique but not the sause. The level 3... well can't wait a week to eat them, anyone who tried please review them. I prefer the level 1 the fries are crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside the taste is surprisingly delicious (I though it would be soggy, and it was a lovely surprise) but it takes forever to fry. The 2 level chef technique takes longer than 1, cook, wait till cool, freeze then fry.. twice... ohhh the wait. The fries are very good but after a while (I tried this more than once... or twice...) the vinegar and the double frying takes a tole to the stomach.
