It was so refreshing to see a Youtuber sit down and just talk, without any elaborate structure but just genuine thoughts and feelings that affect us all, in little and big ways.

What you are talking about here is the “optimal stopping problem” which is solved by the 37% rule. You can read more about it to help guide when to stop looking, wether its a life partner or a new apartment

Man I went from looking at what to do in Austin to finding this hidden gem. Can relate to almost everything you said except the workaholic. I’m more of paralysis by over analysis. Or lazy some would call it. :/ Your thoughts about feeling like not existing while editing yourself was pretty interesting. Reminded me of a Black Mirror episode. Being in solitude, constantly looking at yourself, a virtual twin except you have the option to edit out all the things you don’t like about yourself. I can start to see how you might have some strange or surreal feelings.
Anyways, enjoyed your share! I’m not really into fashion but I subscribed anyways. You seem like a very genuine person. Take care!

I had to start seeing a therapist after I graduated. I didn't realize how good it was for me mentally to have a plan while in college. Having my semesters laid out and having small goals and big goals was like a manual for life.

Now that I graduated five years ago and I'm a professional now, I can tell you I am recreating that now. I'm creating small and large goals in my career. I do the same for my relationships (friendships, family, romantic... Etc). You'll figure it out, person who's reading this :)

You are so relatable! It feels like you just put my thoughts and feelings into words. Like thinking those and feeling those doesn’t make sense most of the times and it’s like people won’t understand but this video is reassuring. Having thoughts about life, how we should live it, who we should live it with, AND BEING SCARED AND STRESSED AND EXCITED SOMETIMES IS NORMAL.

Keep going, girl! Life has a lot to offer! 😊

Back then I was stressed about going to college and keeping an impossible grade (I took the IB diploma which is pretty much death by choice) i straight up just wanted a break. But then i quickly realized i had the same crisis. I've spent all my life being taught by my teachers and my parents (i have asian parents) that the only way to achieve something worth being proud is to work my butt off until i've reach the finish line. And the absolute craziest thing was when i have finally crossed that finish line i some how wanted to be stressed again??? So of corse i got myself a JOB... and funny thing i ended up learning something that i'd never thought i'd learn through this whole year which is actually enjoying my GOD DAMN life. Enjoying the company's of others and being able to work on myself as a person. I got a job and the and I thought u had to have a goal in ur work space but really u don't. it's a place where u do something u enjoy and feel comfortable with, in the company of others who share the same interest as you. You get challenged by new things and gain new experiences that is impossible to get in a school or internship, because for the first time u are actually get treated like an adult and respected as one too, none of that (i expect u to be more like an adult but yet i will still proceed to treat you like a kid bullshit...) ON TOP OF TTHAAAT, what i've realized is work is only done at working hours and when work is finished u get a personal life (shocker am i right). but at school u go to class and theres hw, projects, presentations, exams to prepare, and the sacrifice of personal life. but work is completely different . And since I had money and extra time i got to go out with my friends, hang out with my bf, take my parents out, see my relatives and work on myself as a person. it really showed me a different view of what it's like to be an adult. It's not to have a constant goal that sacrifices my personal life or being stressed about achieving a stupid piece of paper. It's actually about enjoying life as it is. thats probably just me but i hope this helps and i hope u find your way soon :)

I'm 30, and it's taken me until very recently to understand some of the points you made in this video. You are far wiser than most people my age. I am surrounded by people who are obsessed with Kmart, babies and their jobs. In the wise words of Stacy Orrico, THERE'S GOTTA BE MORE TO LIIIII-HIIIIIIFE. Anyway. Hi. You're great. A+ all round.
